Junior Platform Engineer

What are you going to do?

As a Junior Platform Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team from day one. You will build, automate, and refine platforms using technologies like Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux, Azure, and AWS. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you'll work on diverse and challenging projects for various major clients in the northern Netherlands. We consciously match projects based on your technical interests, current skillset, and learning goals, so you can grow effectively and make a real impact. 

On Friday, you'll have time to work on your development. Then you'll have time to: 

• to work on certifications (e.g., cloud, Kubernetes, Linux)  
• to experiment with new tools and concepts  
• to contribute to internal platforms and knowledge sharing projects 

And of course, we provide lunch on Friday!

You enjoy learning new things and collaborating with colleagues who help you grow. You like sharing knowledge: helping each other makes you and the team better. Building a secure and scalable private or public cloud appeals to you and motivates you to further develop as a platform engineer. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following points: 

• You have at least 1 year of work experience with cloud technology; 
• 1 year of experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Security Specialist, or similar; 
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages; 
• You understand concepts like clusters and pipelines; 
• You are willing to obtain a CKA, AZ104, or similar certification.; 
• You have experience with programming languages such as Python and/or Go; 
• You are familiar with techniques such as containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Linux.
• You are eager to learn, proactive, and enjoy working collaboratively.
